Author Biography:

Milt Dentch was born and raised in the Worcester, Massachusetts area. He is a graduate of Saint John's High School; he has a B. S. in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (1964) and an M.S. in Total Quality Management from Anna Maria College (1998) - all in Worcester. After college, he worked as an engineer in the paper industry for five years, then he worked for twenty-seven years as an engineer and manager at the Polaroid Corporation in Waltham, Massachusetts. Upon leaving Polaroid in 1996, he managed the Custom Coating and Laminating plant in Worcester for the Furon Corporation for three years. Milt currently provides consulting, training, and auditing related to the International Standards Organizations requirements for Quality, Environmental and Safety Management Systems. He has conducted over 500 audits for large and small companies on a worldwide basis. His clients have been as diverse as a floating oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico to an electronics manufacturer in the Ukraine with 4,000 employees. Milt and his wife of forty-nine years, Susan, share their time between Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and Falmouth on Cape Cod.
