Description

Two questions are tackled in this text, namely: is what, or whether one believes the significant religious question; and although the religious communities of the world differ in belief, how much do they really differ in faith? To address these questions, the author explores what the terms "faith" and "belief" mean in themselves and the nature of the relationship between them. Smith examines how the increased awareness of the history of religion and comparative culture has contributed to the current understanding of humanity and faith.
