Description

Eyelnd Feevr follows Roscoe Jenkins and his friends as they traverse the island of Iltopia in search everlasting memories. At the same time, They are looking for ways to avoid getting in trouble by their parents and higher authorities. In an alternate reality where humanoid animals enforce laws, robots replace teachers in school, and everything is produced and controlled by one super company, we find our main character Roscoe in a crossroad between what he wants to do and what he has to do to survive. Much like other forms of Black entertainment, Eyelnd Feevr parodies many of the social injustices and inequalities that minority groups in America face on a day to day basis, but adds a playful twist due to the nature of each characters own childhood ignorance that is inspiring and empowering.

Author Biography:

Born and raised in Sacramento, CA, Steven grew up playing sports his whole life. He was fortunate enough to excel in football and earn a scholarship. During his college career, he injured his hips and had to get hip surgery. It was then that he began to explore art and comics. Jump to 3 years later, he hung up the cleats, received his Master of Arts from Oregon State, and is now studying for Medical School. In hopes of reinventing himself as a visual artist, he aims to create a series that reflects his environment, and inspire creativity. Avry, an Ohio born artist, began sketching as young as 4 years old, and from an early age knew he wanted to make drawings. Cartoons, comics and video games provided catalysts to develop his creativity as he continued to illustrate ideas of adventure, treachery, and action. After two decades of drawing, his obsession evolved into his career path, seeking to create exciting and new ideas.
