A truly entertaining yet very philosophical anime, Excel Saga explores and delves deep into the very heart of stereotypical anime of all genres that ruled the television screens of infatuated anime fans and parodies them in a rather sarcastic yet funny way. The post-modernist/ absurdist elements that are incorporated into the anime help to elevate this anime to the level of a quasi-masterpiece!!! A 10 out of 10!
