Neon Genesis Evangelion continues to be one of the most enduring anime franchises in history with some of the most beloved characters of all time not least of which are the incredible giant robots known as Evas.
Ultimate Diorama Masterline series brings to life the most famous and popular of the Evas known as EVANGELION TEST TYPE-01, but this time in a special variant designed by Josh Nizzi – a Concept Artist who is known among Transformers fans for his work done in Transformers Films franchises and others such as G.I. Joe, Marvel and more.
A tall, lanky cyborg machine piloted by the Third Child Shinji Ikari, Unit-01 is humanoid with thin limbs, reinforced knees and chest, shoulder extensions, and its iconic horned head. The base is inspired by the fight between Evangelion Unit-01 and Sachiel in Tokyo-3 City. The LED light-up function is situated on the head. With a fluorescent green paint application on the body, it will stand out like it is glowing in the dark.
