Granted, this game is slighty more difficult to play with a keyboard and mouse, (fighting moves anyway) yet, give yourself the time to play and have a little more patience and you can see the game for what it really is…
Forget FPS – this game is a combination fighting/gunplay ACTION game. Yes, it is meant to give you the opportunity to disarm a foe a kick him across the room. But, that is not the greatest thing about it – it's that you can do it several different ways. The controls are not difficult at all, requiring little skill to master, but a lot of time to test out all the different combinations. I recommend buying the walkthrough guide.
This game also features a whole bunch of full-motion video, filling in the gaps in Reloaded and Revolutions; filmed by the actual film-makers. That is cool. What other games have that?
While some levels may be large or long, they are definitely not repetitive at all. It is actually quite refreshing to see little more depth in a game these days.
I feel the only downfall this game is the driving aspect of it. Long, generic car noises while you drive around being shot at or shooting. Fairly non-consequential events happen during this phase of the game. Same goes for piloting the Hovercraft…
If you want some slow motion Kung Fu and bullet time blasting this IS the game for you. A let-down for some; for others, a hidden gem that polishes up nicely over time.
