Author Biography

Bob Ellal is a four-time cancer survivor of supposedly terminal bone cancer. Employing the mind/body connection - Qi Gong internal energy arts - helped him beat the disease and survive the devastating effects of the high dose chemotherapy of two bone marrow transplants. He is a Qi Gong practitioner and has been clear of cancer for 16 years. He has worked as a writer in publishing and in the corporate world. He has two sons: Geoff, a solider in Special Forces; and Dylan, a university student sharpening his great artistic gifts. Both tough guys. See BobEllal.com. Lawrence Tan is a martial arts master and founder of TanDao. His background includes teaching, writing, including his book, The Universal Form, and as a former Far East Editor for Inside Kung Fu Magazine, fight choreography, film and video work. Master Tan teaches universal mind/body principles underlying all martial arts that also apply to health and healing in classes and seminars in the US, abroad, and via online learning. See TanDao.com.
