This is a family movie that can be watched time and again and not get old. Even my husband likes it!

Starting off in animation and then switching to live action, Amy Adams makes a fantastic fairy tale princess who ends up getting one heck of a reality check when the wicked witch sends her hurtling towards our world. Not long after, the prince joins her and their adventures (both separate and together) are hilarious and wonderful.

Patrick Dempsey stars as the cynical but fantastic Robert and is great against James Marsden's prince.

I bought this movie for my children and found I loved it too. I particularly love the way the cartoon characters look like their real life counterparts. The story is classic Disney, but not boring in any way. It's also nice for the adults to pick out references to various parts of older Disney movies. Some very nice, catchy songs as well.
