A lovely, sentimental look at the behind the scenes fan movement, centred around the convention circuit and the actors who filled out the Star Wars movie universe. Interesting interviews with some wonderful actors make this a fascinating documentary. Watch for the touching moments with Dave Prowse, the Real Darth Vader.
Elstree is a great dvd investigating the small parts in Star Wars: A New Hope, because it is one year after A New Hope, and how the lives of the small roles have been shaped by acting in Star Wars. It was something of a shock that at Star Wars conventions people don't recognize Dave Prowse at Star Wars conventions like Star Wars Celebrations because he is covered in a mask no one asks for his autograph because they do not recognize his face. The Documentary also explained Dave Prowse other role as the traffic safety officer in British safety feature the Green Cross man. The younger stars found it was great to be acting with the likes of Mark Hamil. A great collectable dvd which has credibility the likes of Empire of Dreams documentaries.
