Description

For pupils aged between 10 and 12.6, this updated edition of the reading test gives a diagnostic profile highlighting individual strengths and weaknesses in key literacy skills, as well as a standardized score and reading age. The four skills tested are: sequences, facts and main ideas, points of view, and vocabulary. The test can be given to whole class groups in two sessions of about 35 minutes, and is designed to yield diagnostic information that will inform teaching throughout the year, and not solely as an end-of-year assessment. This book is the teacher's manual to accompany the test booklets.
