Author Biography:

Janice McLaughlin, began writing after retiring from the medical field. She has many poems in anthologies and in local publications. Enjoys haiku and other forms of Japanese poetry and is now working on two new books of poetry. Since becoming a great-grandmother she has turned her attention to children's rhyming story books about insects. Each storybook has a companion coloring /activity book. Writing about insects from A to Z, she has now completed the letter E for Eddie the Enthusiastic Earwig. The next will be about Fiona the fly. Previous 4 books: Arthur the Amazing Ant, Billy the Beneficial Bee, The Many Moods of Cherie the Chatty Caterpillar, and Diana the Diaphanous Dragon-fly. While she is writing these books she is also learning so much about each insect, and hopes the children and parents are learning as well.
