The navigation for Ecovacs doesn't seem to be as good as what is on board a Roomba; I've had to ‘rescue’ it a number of times when it got confused as to where in the house it is. It also can and will run over cables and eat them. It does spot larger objects well, but a mouse cord got well tangled before the unit shut down and requested help. On the plus side, it cleans really well and so long as the catcher isn't overly full, it also auto empties without issue. Only one time it didn't and that was my fault for cancelling the previous auto-empty and then setting it to run in a room normally occupied by someone with really long hair! The mop feature is also great; I'm not so happy that the pads are ‘disposable’, but have been able to successfully wash and reuse one. My understanding is that they could be used up to 5 times. Overall, very happy with my purchase.

My Ecovacs DEEBOT T9+ Vaccum Cleaner had great reviews online … It worked well too, but for less than a year. Just over one year since purchase, it has stopped charging and, therefore, communicating with the APP. The DEEBOT help person helped only to the point of re-setting everything … I'd already done all of that. The one year warranty is up and I've wasted a LOT of money on this beast … And have no idea where to “recycle” it. VERY UNHAPPY
