Description

DYING WITH CAROL is an account of how the Body of Christ supported Bob and Carol when they were going through the anguish of Carol dying from cancer. This happened in two ways: The Catholic Cursillo and the Protestant Walk to Emmaus, and a local United Methodist church. They were helped tremendously through the hospital stays and also a prolonged home experience with Hospice by daily e-mails and the answers they recieved from all over the country. It started with responses from close friends and then expanded into a much larger cross section of the body of Christ. The turning point in this narrative is when author asked the question, "What should I pray for?" This book is an example of how the Body of Christ-God's people in this world-should live and support each other. This is a "must read" for anyone who is facing the loss of a loved one.
