Sadly, I expected more from a DVD player in this price range. This unit replaced a $39 Transonic player from The Warehouse we'd had for just over a year and at almost twice the price I didn't expect it to be virtually the exact-same piece of ‘el-cheapo’ hardware with a different brand name on it. Let's hope this one lasts more than the year or so that the Transonic did – but it's VERY cheap design/construction so I don't expect it will. You don't always get what you pay for :-(
