The implementation of artificial intelligence controllers like Fuzzy logic, neural networks have improved the performance of AC drives. Among various speed control strategies of AC drives, Direct Torque Control(DTC) is one of the emerging technique. The torque ripple in DTC based AC drives (Induction motor/Synchronous motor) can be minimized by applying Fuzzy logic and Neural network controllers.
