# 15 - Joe Brawnie
A kindly old grandmother persuades Dr Dog to train her grandson boxer, Joe Brawnie. The kid has lots of brawn, but pretty few brains. In fact, he would be well advised to pick another sport, but the boy is set on boxing and nothing else will do.
Dog gives in and trains Joe for a fight ... And ends up taking his place in the ring to rescue Grandpa who has bet all his savings on Brawnie. Luckily, Kev - and his sling-shot - step in to help Dr Dog dodge his opponents' punches.

# 16 - No cauliflower for Max Mistaclass
When Fiona is picked to take part in the school's fashion parade, she is overjoyed. But then, disaster strikes as she twists her ankle. One of Dr Dog's old inventions, a pair of self-walking shoes, "The Rock 'n Sholls", seems to do the trick... until one of our hero's patients turns up. Max Declasse suffers from a cauliflower allergy which causes him to fly off his rocker at a moment's notice. And that's exactly what he does as he tries on Fiona's shoes, causing them to go haywire and sweep him off his feet and into a string of crazy mishaps.

# 17 - Carnivore
When the plant Gerty retrieved from the town dump falls ill, Dr Dog comes to the rescue. But as the plant gets better, it starts growing at amazing speed ! and our hero realizes he is dealing with an extremely greedy carnivorous species. The plant threatens to gobble up our hero, his friends, the furniture ... and the whole house. Dr Dog and Gerty are faced with the awesome task of taming the monster-like plant !

# 18 Golden opportunity
When Dr Dog is awarded a scientific prize, the Gumboyles find themselves with a huge sum on their hands. The money soon goes to their head and they move into the Royal Palace ... where they promptly wreck unholy havoc. The situation grows out of hand and the Mayor is alerted. As for Dr Dog , he yearns for his dear old lab. Our hero soon hits upon the idea of playing a practical joke on the Gumboyles, to persuade them to return home. The Gumboyles learn their lesson - a life of luxury is far from a bed of roses !

# 19 Dr. Dog makes it stick
When a villain on the run shows up in Dr Dog's surgery and demands he change his face, Dr Dog is adamant : "No !" Our hero's refusal causes the scoundrel to burst into a fit of wild rage and lunge at the doctor. In the ensuing fight, the man misplaces a diamond brooch. At the same moment, an encyclopedia topples on Dr Dog's head, causing him to lose his memory and adopt a dog-only behaviour. The children, who witness the scene, are hard put to persuade their dear doctor to revert to
his usual self. Especially with the thief determined to retrieve his diamond brooch !

# 20 Hypnosis
When Dr Dog realises that some diseases are best cured by hypnosis, he decides to ask the advice of a famous bogus fakir and real hypnotist who performs in a circus. When Dog goes to see the fakir, the Gumboyles accompany him But as the hypnotist demonstrates his skills, he hypnotises Kev ... and himself, too. He now believes he is a real fakir. Dr Dog has no choice but to take everybody home. But here, things go from bad to worse : the fakir worships Fiona whom he takes for a servant of the Grand Pachi, sage of prosperity.

# 21 - The mummy complex
At a congress on Egyptian medicine, Dr Foyle attempts to persuade an audience of distinguished doctors that he can bring a cat mummy back to life. Dr Dog is quick to show him up as a quack. In the ensuing mayhem, a Canopy vase smashes to the floor, accidentally freeing an ancient virus inside. As Fiona is infected, she takes herself for Queen Cleopatra. From now on, the Gumboyles adopt ancient Egyptian customs and life style, as Dr Dog investigates the causes of Fiona's disease and counters Foyle's vengeful scheme

# 22 - What's bitten Pa?
Since a mysterious animal bit Pa at dusk, he has been acting very strangely indeed : at night, he turns into a hairy, ravenous beast and spends the whole day sleeping in the dark. As Dr Dog researches these weird symptoms, he soon discovers Pa has been changed into a "rodent-vampire" by the Transylvanian hamster Junior Pouncefoot bought on the Internet. Dog traps the fearful hamster, uses its hair to concoct an exorcism and cures Pa.
