Set in 1990's Dr Bernard Pembroke is a Psychotherapist with a curious mind. After a life lived in the city of Latrobe, Bernard moves to the small coastal town of Brighton to seek something new after the unexpected breakdown of his 30 year marriage. Bernard starts to experience small slips in his attention and seeks his own therapy to work through what he believes is unresolved grief that still lingers two years after his divorce. Bernard continues working with interesting patients as he becomes a patient himself in more ways than he could have ever imagined . . . Bernard's life continues to become more and more curious to him as he learns more about himself with his own therapist Nova.
