This bowl has two layers that are not watertight, meaning that if any liquid is above a certain point, it will leak down into the bottom where the metal weight sits. As a result, liquid filled with bacteria and rust will build up and leak out unless you can manage to pry the layers apart and clean it. There are no instructions and no warnings in the item information to let you know this is a possibility, and it could be a severe health risk for the animal.
I’ve tried these types of bowls before on my dog and they didn’t slow her much but this one is great with the added obstacle of the high edge and the wobble base. Works great!
