Description

A Celebration of High Western Desert Dodging Ant Hills is a collection of poems celebrating the people and places in and around Northwest Colorado. This rugged, primitive desert country has its own incredible beauty; a beauty that "grows" on visitors who take the time, and have the patience, to explore it. Because much of this fragile country is being opened to gas and oil exploration, unique landscapes, native plants, animals, and archeological sites are disappearing forever. The author's hope is to bring remote places and the people who inhabit them alive in these poems, and perhaps move some people to help preserve what survives.
