The Doctor and Dodo arrive in London in swinging 1966, only to discover a plot to use the computer WOTAN (housed in the Post Office Tower) to take over the world. When Dodo is hypnotised along with WOTAN's controller Professor Brett, the Doctor finds help in the form of Polly, Brett's secretary, and Able Seaman Ben Jackson. Together they must defeat WOTAN's terrifying War Machines.
This release includes restored footage unseen since 1966, a clip from ‘Blue Peter’ in the same year with the public unveiling of a War Machine and a feature on how the story was put back together from the source material.
