This is a fabulous wee handbook. Everything you ever wanted to know about the Madman's Blue Box is in here. This book really is bigger on the inside, folks! For longtime fans, it's a great addition to your no-doubt extensive collection. For those new-ish to the Whoniverse (and I'm talking David Tennant's era, of course!), then this handy guide will answer many of your questions. I love the TV scripts on many pages and the Tardis models in great detail, throughout the decades. Every regeneration features – I have watched every episode of Doctor Who since it began and I loved journeying back in time with this book. The history of the Tardis really is well worth a read. Steve Tribe rocked this one!

Good book with loads of great information. Might need your reading glasses; font size is on the short side! Great gift under the tree.

Description

As the Eleventh Doctor and Amy embark on all-new adventures in time and space, The TARDIS Handbook gives you the inside scoop on 900 years of travel aboard the Doctor's famous time machine. Everything you need to know about the TARDIS is here – where it came from, where it's been, how it works, and how it has changed since we first encountered it in a London junkyard in 1963.

Including photos, design drawings, floor plans and instruction manuals from different eras of the series, this handbook explores the ship's endless interior, looking inside its wardrobe and bedrooms, its power rooms and sick bay, its corridors and cloisters, and revealing just how the show's production teams have created the dimensionally transcendental police box, inside and out.

The TARDIS Handbook is the essential guide to the best ship in the universe.
