Sam Hay trained as a journalist in Edinburgh and went on to work in newspapers for the BBC, before packing it in to move to Wales and write her first children’s book. Since then she’s had more than twenty books published, including the Undead Pets series about zombie animals and Screaming Sands, a ghostly trilogy set at the seaside. Nick East has worked as a museum designer for many years but his love of children’s books has always been a huge part of his life. He loves using his drawings to communicate his ideas and passions and has always used them to tell stories. He is the illustrator of the Goodnight series, The Mouse Who Sailed the Seas, The New Royal Baby, Harry and the Monster, Who's For Dinner?
