Michelle Robinson worked as an advertising copywriter for some of the world's biggest brands, before turning her attention to writing for children. She is the author of over forty picture books and lives in Canada. Leonie Lord studied illustration at Central St Martin's College in London and worked for many years as an editorial illustrator for magazines and newspapers. Soon she discovered illustrating picture books about dinosaurs, gorillas, and other animals with funny names and interesting habits was much more up her alley. She lives in England.
