Author Biography:

Lew Freedman is a Columbus, Indiana-based journalist who is sports editor of The Republic newspaper. He has worked on staffs of several newspapers, including the Chicago Tribune, Anchorage Daily News and Philadelphia Inquirer. The winner of more than 250 journalism awards, Freedman is the author of 52 books about sports and Alaska.
