Phil Taylor was born in Southern Ontario, in 1967 and is now currently living in Victoria, BC. He has been interested in photography for over twenty years and had deviated from this passion for a period of time to develop an interest in computers. It wasn't long before he realized that the two interests were going to converge. Phil has experience in the darkroom and is now proud to have been using a digital darkroom for the past five years. His photography is still film-based, from which he scans his negatives into his computer. Upon venturing into digital imaging he realized there was a massive amount of jargon available and was welcomed with a rapid accumulation of terminology. phil has researched numerous resources and has finally come to this point.
