Description

Diary of a Sapper is the true story of a squadron of British Royal Engineers who were stationed in B.A.O.R. - West Germany - in the '80s. They were protecting the West from the Soviets - by getting drunk in German bars and eating very large sausages in the local schnellies. They got the call to go and rebuild The Falklands after the little 'upset' between the Junta and Maggie Thatcher. This is the real-life story of a bunch of Sappers whose only goal in life was to milk the situation for all that could be got. You've read books about the SAS, now read what the rest of us did whilst they were out playing 'soldiers'. Public Health Warning; Do not drink a hot beverage whilst reading this book, laughing with a mouth full of hot tea is not good and the pages are not waterproof, however, they are very absorbent if you run out of toilet paper.
