Description

Aimed at anyone interested in helping English teachers to develop and improve, this text's main focus is on the ways in which experienced English teachers can support and develop student teachers, and induct them into the profession. Also, the idea of "mentorship" itself is examined as a feature of continuing professional development. There is an emphasis on how being a mentor is very different from being a class teacher, and points out the new areas learning that such a role demands. The book shows how all participants can learn from this reflective cycle and improve their teaching.
