Author Biography:

W M C McKENZIE is a lecturer in structural analysis at Napier University, where he is actively involved in teaching, consultancy and research. He has previously worked as a design engineer for both contractors and consultants. he is the author of Design of Structural Steelwork (1998) and Design of Structural Timber (2000), both also with Palgrave.
