5 turns, you want to do everything, but there is no time!
Demon Worker makes every action meaningful, there is no space for waste and end game scoring makes it even more interesting; aside from collecting a few points through in game effects the bulk of your score is by completing Planning cards (objectives) and sending your workers out one last time at the end of the game… This relies on you having either stockpiled or generating the resources on your last turn.
To make it even trickier, every time you send you workers out to gather and do things, it costs resources. I know a lot of games where by the end of the game you are swimming in resources where you can't seem to throw them away fast enough and this most certainly is not one of those games!
Don't let the small format fool you this game is fantastic and the little combo engine you build up is so gratifying. Also, the art style is gorgeous! I just wish they were able to flesh out the theme more but given the brief and compact nature of the game with the mechanisms at hand I can see why they could only do so much, still it would be nice to see more of this universe.
