While I understand the game lacks the same amount of content (stages/costumes/tag battle) as previous installments, DOA6 nonetheless delivers an extremely riveting fighting game experience. Combos are even more flashy and satisfying to pull off than ever. The updated graphics engine showcases the new lighting system and character models beautifully, interacting with the models and backgrounds in real time. The addition of the fatal rush and break blow features forces players to mix up their characters strings, adding a new layer of strategic elements to the core gameplay. My only gripe with this game are the greedy DLC practices, and the story was a little hard to comprehend through its messy delivery.
