I mean it's an average piece of tech that is hindered severely by the developers poor forethought. You have set cheats you can load to the cartridge and they only affect slot 1–3 of their respective area. You can't add your own cheats and the only useful one is adding Wonder Cards to your game (1 at a time). You cannot add Pokemon to your game, only change their language, gender, form and if they are shiny. The only truly good feature is that you can back up your save files.
Really not worth the $45 I paid for it.
