Author Biography:

Dr. Samiksha Shukla is currently employed as Associate Professor and Head, Data Science Department, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa Campus. Her research interests include computation security, artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and big data. She is a certified AWS Educator. She has presented and published several research papers in reputed journals and conferences. She has co-edited books such as Data Science and Security (Springer, 2020 & 2021) She has 16 years of academic and research experience. She is serving as Reviewer for the Inderscience Journal, Springer Nature’s International Journal of Systems Assurance Engineering and Management (IJSA), and IEEE and ACM conferences. Dr. Shukla is Experienced and Focused Teacher who is committed to promoting the education and well-being of students. She is passionate about innovation and good practices in teaching. She has constantly engaged in continuous learning to broaden her knowledge and experience. Her core expertise lies in Computational Security, Artificial Intelligence, and Healthcare-related projects. She is skilled at adopting a pragmatic approach in improvising on solutions and resolving complex research problems. Dr. Shukla possesses an integrated set of competencies that encompass areas related to Teaching, Mentoring, Strategic Management, and establishing a Centre of Excellence via Industry tie-ups. She has a track record of driving unprecedented research and development projects with international collaboration and has been instrumental in organizing various National and International Events. Dr. Jossy P George is currently serving as Dean and Director at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune Lavasa campus. He has a dual master’s degree in Computer Science and Human Resources from the USA and has done his FDPM from IIM, Ahmedabad. He was awarded a Doctorate in Computer Science by CHRIST University, Bengaluru, on Image Processing for the paper titled “Developmentof Efficient Biometric Recognition Algorithms based on Fingerprint and Face”, and his research activities continue to focus on algorithms for improved accuracy in biometrics. He has also completed major research work on the topic of “Technology in Higher Education”. He has published many papers both in national and international journals and has also successfully filed for patent applications. In addition to this, he is Author of two motivational management books. As Educator, he has been working with CHRIST University (previously Christ College), Bengaluru, and other associated institutions since 2002 in various capacities. In his current capacity as Dean and Director, he continues to strive towards CHRIST’s motto of Excellence & Service. He resolutely believes in a holistic approach to education and is motivated by this to encourage the students of his institution to excel at both academic and non-academic pursuits. Mr. Kapil Tiwari, Kapil is currently working with Amazonas Software Development Manager. He has earlier worked with OpenText, EMC, Sun Microsystems, SS&C, and Siemens information system ltd. Kapil has M.Sc. in Information Technology from Devi Ahilya University, and he is Alumni of C-DAC ACTS Bangalore. He has 17 Years of professional experience in managing, designing, and developing cloud and on-premise software systems. Kapil also has rich exposure of Finance Technologies, Content Management, and Medical domain. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. from Christ University, India, in the field of Privacy in Machine Learning. Dr. Joseph Varghese Kureethara is heading the Centre for Research at Christ University.  He has over seventeen years of experience in teaching and research at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru, and has published over 100 articles in the fields of Graph Theory, Number Theory, Fuzzy Optimization, History, Religious Studies, and Sports both in English and Malayalam, in journals such as International Journal of Fuzzy Systems, Journal of Cleaner Production, IET Renewable Power Generation, International Journal of Hydrogen Energy, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, Match, etc. Joseph Varghese has authored three books and co-edited six books including Recent Trends in Signal and Image Processing (Springer, 2021), Data Science and Security (Springer, 2021), and Neuro-Systemic Applications in Learning (Springer, 2021). His blog articles, comments, facts, and poems have earned about 1.5 lakhs total page views. He has delivered invited talks in over thirty conferences and workshops. He is Mathematics Section Editor of Mapana Journal of Sciences, Member of the Editorial Board, and Reviewer of several journals. He has worked as Member of the Board of Studies, Board of Examiners, and Management Committee of several institutions. He has supervised 5 PhDs, 12 M.Phils, is supervising 7 PhDs, and is employed as Professor of Mathematics, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bengaluru.
