Description

A critical feature of this book is the linkage developed between study design and analysis. The author firmly believes that distinctions should be drawn among principal case-selection designs - random sampling, randomization, and nonrandom. The use of the computer is inherent in the use of this book. Resampling is, in its essence, computer intensive. To aid in the use of commercial statistical programming packages, Part 1 includes step-by-step computational algorithms for each resampling application.
