“And with strange aeons even death may die.” Nearly one hundred years after his creation by H.P. Lovecraft; The Great One One, Cthulhu (various sources exist as to how to actually pronounce this) shows no signs of waning in popularity. This model does justice to this legacy and the dark majesty of the Mythos that was later given his name. For a huge miniature (oddly wrong but also complete true) this model has a high level of detail, from the veins in his wings to the suckers and beak underneath his facial tentacles. Wrinkles and gnarled skin are present throughout and its not until there is some paint on him until you realise the level of detail and work that has gone into crafting this model. Eldritch runes and a base textured like sand support this model as it (and his amoral might) tower over the other models on your tabletop. So simple to put together, the head and arms have solid plugs which mean they can be detached to store the model (but, why would you want too). The wings are somewhat flexible (ie: bend when under pressure) and quite difficult to paint attached when trying to maneuver the body in your hand. With that in mind, I would suggest magnetising these if able. Definitely recommend, use whatever excuse you need.
