Lordi, a Finnish metal/rock band take a central role in this bizarre movie. Despite a relatively unknwon cast, the acting is first rate – And the special effects are used to great affect. The plot is a little convuluted, and /does/ take someone to be actively watching, and even take a few more leaps than most movies expect the viewer to, in order to understand the plot, otherwise they mind find the movie difficult to understand.
For any Lordi fan, this movie is a must-watch, including all the members of the band as at 2008. It features all of them, in their specific mythical roles (Not as musicians.)
Although Dark Floors has talented actors, good special effects use and a rather engaging story, the plot and a few other small points being hard to grasp, and because of this I cannot say it's any better than an average for the everyday viewer. Personally, I enjoyed every minute – And have since watched it several times more.
