Danny: A Miracle Beyond Five This book was written in memory of our precious Down Syndrome brother, Daniel Edward Plouhar, (our Danny ). Born October 29, 1946, passed to eternal life on March 18, 2012 - age 65 years. He lived a long life with many challenges, including stress, frustration, and illness, but overcame all problems that he faced with his good natured spirit, personality, love for people, his faith and his deep love for "his Jesus" and his hearty, smiling laugh. Much of society does not know the in-depth challenges these Special People go through to survive in a world of the more fortunate people without such maladies. I hope knowing about Danny's life (and all other mentally and physically challenged people) will soften hearts and these people will be accepted into a society for human dignity, acceptance, and love.
