Description

This work includes a discussion on painting between Les Schlieber and Daniela Brahm. Brahm's work skips from one medium to another, translating her photographs of urban environments into large-scale paintings, which transform the exhibition space. "For myself, the process is the most important aspect, this starts out by tracking something down, recording this in photographs that are then used as a basis for the paintings, the paintings become building blocks for the three-dimensional painting, the staging in the exhibition space. I fix my own production into this process, which then fixes the artistic production into real-life." - Daniela Brahm.
