Description

Our cat Dagmar welcomes you into his home and tells his life's journey from being adopted, enjoying life as a cherished member of the family and being diagnosed with diabetes after notable changes in his sleeping, eating and appearance. Through Dagmar's story, we hope to educate and inspire those afflicted with this disease so that they know they are not alone. Based on the true story of our beloved cat, Dagmar shares the message that with proper care and love from those around you, this condition can be controlled and managed so that you, too, can live a long and healthy life.

Author Biography:

James is the author of two children's books: "What Would You Get Your Cat for Their Birthday?" and "Dagmar the Diabetic Cat". This is the first book that James and his wife, JoAnn, have collaborated on together. They both have a love of cats and volunteer at the local animal shelter on weekends. James is a software engineer and JoAnn is a librarian at the local library. They enjoy spending their free time with their one daughter and one cat (you can guess which one demands more time!). This is James' second self-published book on Amazon and they both look forward to working together on more in the future.
