An interscholastic anthology of teen writing in Central Virginia. Collected by submission of all students interested in creative writing in Central Virginia through Submittable and designed to be a representation of the writing in our area. Author Biography:

Baylina Pu has been telling stories her whole life. She is co-editor-in-chief of Albemarle High School's literary-art magazine, The Lantern, and has attended the Virginia Governor's School for the Humanities as well as the University of Virginia Young Writers Workshop. Her writing has been awarded nationally by the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards among other honors, and her aspirations include studying literature from cultures around the world, publishing novels and poetry collections, and collaborating on wide-reaching projects with other artists. In addition to writing poetry and fiction, she enjoys art, music, performing, and making puns. This is Baylina's third year volunteering with the Tupelo Press Teen Writing Center. Rachel Beling is a senior at Charlottesville High School, where she has served as the editor of Graffiti, the school's literary magazine. She has volunteered with the Tupelo Press Teen Writing Center for three year and was the managing editor for the Crossroads VI Teen Anthology. In 2018, Rachel attended the Virginia Governor's School for the Humanities and received the Arthur C. Greene Rising Star Award in Writing. She shares her passion for words with her community by tutoring English as a Second Language students and by providing books through her Little Free Library. She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for writing with her college peers next year. Mary Dwyer is a long time writer who has really intensified her commitment to the craft in high school. Joining the Tupelo Press Teen Writing Center has given her more time to explore her voice. Mary has volunteered with the Albemarle High School litmag, the Lantern, and the Tupelo Press Teen Writing Center as an editor, organizer, and proofreader. She enjoys all forms of writing but her forte is poetry, with several published pieces. She looks forward to pursuing this into her adulthood, as she could not imagine a future without writing in it. Besides writing, Mary enjoys filming movies and coaching synchronized swimming.
