I wrestled with getting it out the tin for hours and when I finally got into it I was a bit underwhelmed. The putty itself is great – feels really nice and is the best quality putty I’ve bought. The let down was the appearance. The putty itself is closer to clear than any kind of amber and while the bees in the putty give it a really nice texture, they really don’t look very appealing. It looks a bit of a mess but is still fun to play with. Hype also played into a lower rating: gorgeous looking bee putty seemed too good to be true and in the end it was.
