Description

In this work, John Carver and Caroline Oliver apply Carver's successful Policy Governance model to the governing of for-profit organizations. While most books on corporate governance focus on adding value to management, Carver reveals that board authority comes from one source - shareholders - therefore all board activities should be devoted to setting policy rules that answer to shareholders wishes.
