Description

Conversational in style, this book is designed to present the many facets of critical thinking in a dynamic question/answer format, answering the practical, down-to-earth questions that challenge nurses on a daily basis. The conversational-style format of Conversations in Critical Thinking and Clinical Judgment mirrors the basic tenets of critical thinking, addressing topics from many angles, instead of in a compartmental or linear fashion. This book invites readers to be thoughtful participants as (some of the most) knowledgeable and experienced nurse authors offer practical advice for how to develop and promote critical thinking skills, how to work creatively within teams, and even how to attract, develop, and retain the best critical thinkers on their team. Whether in practice, education, leadership, quality improvement, or research, nurses will find content that challenges and inspires.
