The game picks up quickly, and being a wuss, i was scared almost immediately.
Things as simple as turning around corners is now a big thing as you never know when something is going to pop out and scare you. The environments are very good, with many creepy things thrown into the mix to put you off. A particuly scary moment in the game was spoiler when i was walking forwards, with a mirror in front of me, and i saw a crazed man running at me from behind! spoiler over!. The cut scenes in the game are excellent to, and the voice acting and the characters facial expressions are fantastic. The combat system is excelent, you can punch using R1 and L1, which feels natural. A big thing i liked about this game was the lack of decent weapons available, having to fight with a pipe is a lot scarier than have a mini gun available. The fighting feels natural, and kicking and punching makes the game feel gritty and real, and make your fight for survival all the more realistic, and therefore scary.
