After playing this briefly i would have to say overall its a pretty good game, that has the C N C generals/Zero Hour look and feel to it. If you are into RTS and have followed the C & C games since the beginning then i think you'll be satisfied with this latest version.

Setup – I'm currently running windows XP, ASUS Nvidia 7600GT, 1GB RAM.

With these peripherals i've found that running the game only had one problem for me – synchronising of character speech during FMV's. Loading time was about the norm

Visuals

Good functional layout, a bit menu heavy , good color schemes throughout.

Gameplay

I found the controls easy & familiar.

Very good idea to include the function of additonal 'cranes" to speed up production, and there were enough new units to"prompt" me to go thru the build queue just to see how they would perform during battle. Some touch on the old ;others intro themselves thru differing states of usage, deployment (ie: Nod battle turrents in 3-way config) and the"outpost vehicle are good examples of innovation.

Playing campaigns and seeing overall stats, punctuated by in game alerts, message transmissions add to the “latest update” type feel of the game. Having an obj displayed with an in map marker certainly helps for ease for finding on the maps.

Dislikes

These are personal, but i did find it annoying having to hover over a picture tab longer than 2–3 secs to read finer details, would rather an instantaneous pop-up view.

Mouse clicking waypoints off structures and selecting the various attack stances of units can be a problem if you haven't trained yourself to remember which button “actions” and the other “cancels”.

Sound – No drama's really its good!

Summary – A winner in my book.
