Gabrielle Dearborn has been abducted as a hostage bride by Vahn, and taken to Sartus, a world void of color. A battle is being waged on the planet by sub-human species. The wild Dregos and mild-tempered Tussians are fighting for the title HUMAN. Gabrielle struggled on earth because of her color, so is sensitive to the sub-human's plight. She finds her cause in this colorless world by joining the outlaw sects and vows to aid in their deliverance. All the while, Nuba, the evil queen, who desires Vahn's affection, schemes to destroy her.

Author Biography

Joan Hall, writes from her home in Olive Hill, Kentucky. "I love to write in two genres. One is Fantasy, the other is Appalachian. I live in an area rich in folklore and colorful characters. I pull on my knowledge of old Appalachia in, The Chosen Child, and our modern culture in, Grand Finale. With fantasy my imagination is unleashed, in Color Me Human and a book of short stories, Daydreams. My next work, Alotta, The Girl Who Walks With Dragons, a children's book should be available in 2017.
