Description

Cofield U.S. MarshalOur story starts out with a young man named JD Cofield. It's 1865 and the civil war has ended. JD has returned to his home town of Decatur Alabama to find it had been devastated by Union Troops. The town has been burnt down and with only a few structures remaining, including the church JD had attended. Before the war, JD was planning on being a preacher and had preached at the local church. As for a lot of men in those days, the war changed their lives. JD moved west, working as a cowhand and had traveled the Chisholm Trail many times pushing cattle. This is where he meets a man named Ned McAlester who will become a lifetime friend. JD Cofield and Ned McAlester embark on a lifetime of adventure serving as Sheriffs and US Marshals. While tracking down a gang of escaped prisoners that have gone across the border into Mexico J.D. meets the love of his lifeMystery of Diablo Pueblo Del On a horse ride into town a young girl Isa Cofield gets her aging grandfather, J.D. Cofield, to tell her of his adventures in the old west. Along with an old Indian friend of J.D.'s, they embark into their own adventure to not only solve the mystery of a hidden ghost town called Pueblo del Diablo, (Town of the Devil.) but to solve a murder mystery and a thirty-year-old train robbery.
