Description

Code Billy III is the third book of CODE BILLY meditations. The origin of this title comes from the time our daughter, age 26, was released from a rehab hospital after suffering a debilitating stroke. As we were preparing to take her home from the hospital, signing release forms and gathering up her personal belongings, an announcement came over the communication system saying "CODE BILLY, first floor." We ignored the announcement not knowing its meaning. As we came out of the elevator to the first floor and rounded the corner, all the doctors, nurses and techs who had treated our daughter were lined up on both sides of the hallway clapping as her wheelchair was pushed through the phalanx of well-wishers. Many were visibly crying along with patient and family. CODE BILLY is a protocol practiced by the hospital personnel when a long-term patient is finally released. Billy was a man no one thought would ever get out but he did and the so the ritual continues. --------- Jim Marshall has been in Christian ministry for over 50 years, serving as pastor, missionary, gospel singer and missions executive. He has pastored in Ohio, Indiana, Georgia, Oregon, Canada and Nairobi, Kenya. He has led churches from small to large. Jim is a graduate of Ohio Christian University and George Fox University Seminary. He and his musically gifted wife, Marg, have four children (the oldest now in heaven). His meditations are very relevant and to the point.
