The Blues guitarist’s new album Clovis People Vol. 3 (there is no Vol. 1 or 2 - it’s made up, a cryptic reference to Taylor’s musical past) features guest appearances from legendary guitarist Gary Moore & pedal steel player Chuck Campbell, as well as cornetist Ron Miles & bassist Cassie Taylor (Otis’ 22yr old daughter).
The album is the ideal project for the architect of a sparse & hypnotic style that has come to be known as “trance blues”, as Taylor lends a variety of shades & voices to the mix with his esteemed guests.
