Nashville artist Patrick Sweany returns with another set of indie blues and soul! You may not have heard of Patrick Sweany, but chances are you’ve heard his music.
In 2008, Sweany recorded a record with longtime friend and collaborator Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys. Thanks to the Keys’ massive worldwide success, many of Sweany’s songs have been featured alongside theirs on popular streaming services such as Pandora, and been licensed by TV and Film producers.
The exposure has brought a great deal of attention to Sweany, who now regularly tours the US, Canada and Europe.
Sweany’s new record – Close To The Floor – is molded from the same indieblues stamp. It’s a gritty look at some tragic events the past two years, including the sudden deaths of two close family members, and Sweany’s struggles with ruthless elements of the music industry.
