Author Biography

Clinton Anderson was born and raised in Australia, where at the age of six his family recognised a natural ability with horses and cultivated his interest, buying him his first horse at age nine. At only eighteen years of age he started his own training facility in Australia and trained over 600 horses, applying his knowledge and expertise. In 1996 Clinton travelled to the United States and apprenticed with Al Dunning, winner of multiple American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) World Championships, before starting out on his own career path. In 2003 and 2005, Clinton won the prestigious 'Road to the Horse' colt-starting competition with a focus on educating the audience by demonstrating what's possible if you have a solid training foundation. Clinton's goal is to inspire others with his unique training methods. He travels extensively, presenting his methods in a demonstration format, along with conducting clinics and appearing as a headline speaker at major equine events.
